Bankrate, Inc. is an independent, objective aggregator of financial rate information. It continually surveys almost 5,000 financial institutions in all 50 states in order to provide rates to consumers. Bankrate.com provides free rate information on more than 300 financial products, including mortgages, credit cards, new and used automobile loans, ATM fees, and online banking fees. You can use this site to provide students with up-to-date interest rates.

Jump$tart Coalition
This organization was founded to address the concern that too many high school students are graduating with no knowledge or skills in personal financial management. Jump$tart sponsors an annual conference in personal finance education, recommends best practices for teaching financial literacy, and provides national standards in K–12 Personal Finance Education.

The U.S. Financial Literacy and Education Commission presents sound consumer information on all aspects of personal finances, including budgeting, financial planning, and starting a small business. It provides in-depth background information of interest to users of The Finance Center.
