This Handbook includes materials designed to help students make meaningful connections to the simulation across content areas. It focuses on the content areas of literacy, math, science, and social studies. All Teacher's Handbook 2 components—Literacy Links, Math Links, and Projects—follow or extend the topic of the simulation industry.
- Our Literacy Links are comprised of 25 reading skills & strategy lessons. During independent reading, students practice the skill or strategy using the Nonfiction Library book of their choice.
- Our Math Links component includes lesson plans, student practice sheets, games, pre-and posttests topic tests, and an assessment record.

- Our Projects are two standards-aligned, content-area project assignments, one in science and one in social studies. Students respond to research questions through a written piece, a graphic representation, and an oral presentation.
